Description
Corona surface treatment is essential for label printing. When using plastic label materials, due to the lack of bonding ability between ink and plastic, resulting in the tendency of fuzzy ink after printing. This is because the plastic does not have enough surface energy to form an ideal bond with the ink. A high quality corona treatment is necessary at this point to ensure the desired perfect print quality of the final label product. Our corona systems are designed for customers who print on narrow webs, but also for our customers' customers. CORONA corona system can help you get a perfect and long-lasting printing quality. Usually our customers find that the dyne value (surface adhesion is low) of the materials they batch, or the original dyne value of the stock material is affected by high temperature or humidity. It is precisely because of the low dyne value that the narrow web printing press cannot run at full speed. For this reason, the CORONA corona system can be used to re-raise the dyne value of the treated material, thereby forming a high surface adhesion. In order to obtain relatively high ink adhesion to the surface, surface-coated materials have to be used that have been chemically treated on the surface, which is a common problem in the narrow web converting industry. Coated materials are more expensive than ordinary materials. Narrow web materials treated with Shengjing CORONA corona system often reduce the need for surface coating materials, thereby greatly reducing production costs. For difficult-to-treat materials, plasma treatment can be selected to produce better and longer-lasting adhesion on the surface of these special materials. Use a special closed plasma electrode rack to replace the electrode rack of the corona system to connect the gas source to exclude oxygen, and then it can be upgraded to a plasma treatment system.
